As the fall semester approaches, more campus buildings are opening with some limited in-person student services. As UNT continues its phased approach to returning to on-campus operations, the top priority is to help keep faculty, staff and students healthy and to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Members of Facilities’ Custodial Services are routinely cleaning and disinfecting buildings, and signs will remind faculty, staff and students of the precautions they should follow. UNT’s Guide for Returning to Campus also includes helpful information and guidelines for faculty, staff and students.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- All services continue to be available virtually from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- The best day of the week for students needing in-person help to come to campus is Thursday because offices that provide student support – from academic departments to business operation units – will be open that day.
- Students should call ahead to schedule an appointment and confirm the hours for any office they plan to visit.
- While on campus you must wear a face mask, covering your nose and mouth, and follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
